Two hurt Sunday in Ogle County crash

OGLE COUNTY – Two 16-year-olds received minor injuries Sunday in a single-vehicle crash on West Oregon Trail Road.

Ogle County Sheriff's deputies responded to the scene. An investigation revealed that a Buick driven by one of the 16-year-olds was eastbound when the driver lost control on loose gravel. The vehicle then entered the north ditch and struck an embankment.

The driver and their passenger were taken to KSB Hospital in Dixon for treatment. Their conditions were unavailable Monday.
