BELLEVILLE (AP) – Three men have been charged with felony theft in southwest Illinois for stealing 10,000 gallons of used cooking oil, police said.

Bo Lin, 32, of Fairview Heights, Tuo Li, 25, of Chicago and Kentvy Wong, 30, of Flushing, New York, were arrested July 16 in a barn where the cooking oil was found.

Police said they believe the cooking oil was being taken from outside restaurants to sell to biodiesel plants.
