Quilters plan August charity show

ASHTON – Not Your Sister’s Oregon Quilt Show will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 9 at 3506 Flagg Road.

Quilts will hang from clotheslines in the woods.

Barn Market will sell quilt kits, patterns, quilt gadgets, books, and fabric. Drawings will be every half hour and demonstrations will be presented by Cottage Garden Quilt Shop of Ashton.

Parking is off Flagg Road. A golf cart will be available to transport guests to the show. The site south of state Route 64 and north of state Route 38.

There is no rain date. Admission is by donation and a can or box of nonperishable food.

The charity show will benefit Oregon area organizations.
