Author to give program at library

DIXON – Joelle Charbonneau of the Chicago area, New York Times-bestselling author of “The Testing” trilogy, a science fiction work, will speak at 1 p.m. Aug. 2 in the Dixon Public Library’s adult department, 221 S. Hennepin Ave.

Paramount Pictures has optioned “The Testing,” and the project is under development.

Charbonneau also is the author of “The Rebecca Robbins Mysteries” and the “Glee Club Mysteries.”

Signed copies of her books will be given away as door prizes.
