STERLING – The Sterling School District’s warehouse is full, so it’s putting on an auction Saturday to unload some of its stored items.

“We have done them in the past, but it’s been several years since we have had an auction,” said Tim Schwingle, director of finance. “We will clear out some items the district will no longer needs.”

Those items include a riding lawn mower, a 1996 Ford F250 service truck, a Mitsubishi MT372 diesel lawn tractor, a volleyball referee stand, and two John Deere snowblowers.

Proceeds will go to the district’s operation and maintenance fund.

Lyle Dirks and Rob Young will be auctioneers.

The auction will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Sterling School District’s warehouse, 2320 Lynn Blvd. The truck and lawn tractors will be sold at noon. Only cash or checks, along with proper ID, will be accepted.
