The Illinois Community College Trustees Association elected Andrew Bollman, a Dixon attorney, June 7as its president pro tempore, vice president, to lead and oversee its duties and operations.
ICCTA represents the board members who govern the state’s public community colleges, providing legislative advocacy and opportunities for professional development. The non-partisan association of elected officials’ annual budget is about $1 million.
Bollman is president of the Lee County Health Department.
He also is the chairman of the Sauk Valley Community College Board of Trustees. SVCC recently was recognized as one of the top community colleges within the state by CNN Money and College Measures, due to its success rate.
