Registration open for national bald eagle program

APPLE RIVER – George Fenwick, president of the American Bird Conservancy in Virginia, will be the banquet speaker for this year’s Eagle Nature Foundation International Bald Eagle Days, Oct. 10, 11, and 12, in Kansas City, Missouri.

The weekend will feature speakers with information about bald eagles and threats to the birds in their regions. Eagle Nature Foundation in Apple River will organize a tour bus to the event.

The bus will leave at 8 a.m. Oct. 10 from ENF’s office and will return at 8:30 p.m. Oct. 12.

The cost for adults is $500 per person or $750 for two, double occupancy, and children 17 and younger $300 with parents.
