Orders being taken for school foundation's corn boil

STERLING – Orders are being taken for Sterling Schools Foundation’s annual corn boil fundraiser, which will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. July 24 at Sterling High School commons, 1608 Fourth Ave.

Selmi’s bi-color sweet corn will be served, along with a barbecue pulled pork sandwich, chips, a Golden Warrior cookie from Folsom’s Bakery, and water or lemonade.

The cost is $8 for adults and $6 for students who dine in. Drive-through service is also available.

Lunchtime deliveries will be made to businesses in Sterling and Rock Falls from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. To schedule a delivery, email foundation@sterlingschools.org or fax orders to 815-626-4000 by noon Wednesday. Include delivery time, address, the number of meals needed, and beverage choices.

Proceeds benefit foundation programs.
