OREGON – Serve It Safely will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Aug. 11 at the University of Illinois Extension office, 421 W. Pines Road.
The workshop will focus on preparing, storing, and serving food safely for public consumption. It will include a take-home manual and thermometer per organization.
Registration is due by Aug. 7. Class size is limited to 35.
The cost is $10 for the first person from each organization and $5 for each additional person. Checks may be made payable to U of I Extension.
