DIXON – The Amos Fund Wine Tasting is set for 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Distinctive Gardens, 2020 Lowell Park Road.
The Amos Fund, created by local real estate agent Deb Proctor, raises money for veterinary expenses of sick animals whose owners can’t afford to pay bills in full.
Wine, martinis, beer and soda will be sold.
The event will include music by Mike Chandler, and artwork from Suzanne Shedosky and Chandler will be displayed and sold. Linnea Koch will display and sell photography.
Sena Warkin of Imprintable Memories will offer gift ideas, and Tanet Raymer will offer chair massages.
A silent auction and live auction also are part of the event.

The event also will feature a dog house raffle. Local carpenters will design and build a dog house for the winner. There are three designs for the winner to choose from.
Raffle tickets are $5, and the winner need not be present at the event.
