STERLING – The fourth annual Outdoor Adventure Fest will be from noon to 4 p.m. Aug. 23 at Sterling-Rock Falls Family YMCA, 2505 YMCA Way.

The fest offers a mixture of information centers and more than 30 activities where participants can learn to fish in the Y pool, try archery, play on giant inflatables, or race to the top of a climbing wall. The learning centers will offer critter talks featuring native and zoo animal presentations.

The goal is to encourage healthy, active, outdoor fun for families. There is no charge, and a meal is included.
