"Snoopy 1," the MetLife blimp, could be seen flying over Sterling on Tuesday, as it was part of the Hawkins-Cassens Insurance Cookout, a fundraiser for Sauk Valley Food Bank. The event featured hot dog lunches, balloon animals, a bounce house and the Snoopy and Charlie Brown MetLife mascots. All proceeds from the event went to the food bank.
