Looking back: The Thunder have been sort of quiet on the athletic field over the last couple years. The football team has had two three-win seasons in a row. The boys basketball team, once a powerhouse in the NUIC Northwest, went 5-19. The girls team has won 21 games combined over the last six seasons. The baseball team had a nice year, finishing at 14-15.

Looking ahead: The football team finished the 2013 season by winning three of the last four games, but they lose offensive leaders in Shaun Magill, Brandon Sturtevant and Trevor Jones. The Thunder also start the year with an extremely difficult first five games. The basketball team has had two down years, but had a lot of juniors on the squad a year ago.
