Harold D. Rogers Jr.

LYNDON – Harold D. Rogers Jr., 65, of Lyndon, died Monday, July 7, 2014.

He was born June 2, 1949, in Kewanee, a son of Joan L. (Neilsen) and Harold Dean Rogers Sr. He married Mary Ellen Hunt on Jan. 29, 1971, in Lyndon. He was a material handler at Raynor Garage Doors in Dixon for 20 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his grandchildren, and showing his coon hounds.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Mary Ellen of Lyndon; his mother of Prophetstown; his sons, Darrin (Jennifer) Rogers of Morrison, Collin Rogers of Prophetstown, and Brandon Rogers of Hooppole; his grandchildren, Kayla, Drew, Parker, and Aliza Rogers; and a brother, Dennis (Peggy) Rogers of Kewanee.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Private graveside services will be held at Fairfield-Greenfield Cemetery in New Bedford. McDonald Funeral Home in Prophetstown is handling arrangements.

A memorial has been established.
