2014-15 enrollment: 216 2013-14 enrollment: 201 Difference: +15

Boys sports: Basketball, cross country, football, golf, track & field, wrestling

Girls sports: Basketball, cross country, golf, track & field; volleyball

Classes: Two class – A; Three class – 1A; Four class – 1A; Football – Determined by playoff qualifiers, likely 1A

Looking back: The brightest spot for the Marcos this school year was the performance of the boys basketball team. The Marcos competed for the NUIC East conference title with Milledgeville and Aquin. The team was led by seniors Brian Cavanaugh and AJ Dollmeyer, who was an SVM All-Area first team selection. The football team finished 4-5, as it returned to the NUIC Upstate Division.

Looking ahead: The Marcos should have a fair number of players returning on the football field, which could help them return to the playoffs for the first time since 2009. The boys basketball team loses some very key cogs, but coach Matt Messer seems to always have a new batch of talented players waiting in the wings. The girls basketball team could take a step forward, as it played a lot of underclassmen last season.
