State Police

Jessica L. Higgins, 27, of Milwaukee; 2:34 p.m. Sunday on Interstate 39 in Ogle County; driving while license suspended, speeding; issued individual bond and given notice to appear in court.

Safety check results released

STERLING – District One state troopers announced the results of a roadside safety check which took place late Saturday and early Sunday at U.S. Route 30 and Moline Road in Whiteside County.

Offenses included six registration, one driver’s license, and one occupant restraint. A total of 38 written warnings were issued.
