Glenda Sue Johnson was born June 24, 1938, in Kell, the daughter of Gail and Hazel (Griffith) Henson. She attended school in Rock Falls, and graduated in 1956 from Rock Falls High School. Glenda worked at Whitings Florist until Merle retired in 2001. They moved back to Nashua to enjoy family and friends.

Glenda had a passion for flowers, and created the flowers for all of her grandchildren’s weddings. She enjoyed crafting, playing cards, traveling, fishing, and loved gambling. Glenda cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
