Driver hurt when vehicle overturns

OGLE COUNTY – An Ashton woman sustained minor injuries Saturday in a single-vehicle crash on Brick Road near Daysville Road.

Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies and Oregon fire personnel responded to the scene at 8:12 p.m. An investigation revealed that a westbound Ford F-250 driven by Nicholas Kaecker, 25, of Ashton, failed to negotiate a curve and overturned.

A passenger in the vehicle, Christy Fredericks, 20, was taken by Oregon ambulance to KSB Hospital in Dixon. Her condition was unavailable Monday. Kaecker was arrested on a charge of driving with a revoked license, and issued citations for failure to reduce speed and improper lane usage.
