DIXON – Barbara Jo Love, 61, of Dixon, died Thursday, July 3, 2014, at Serenity Hospice & Home in Oregon. She was a licensed practical nurse, and worked for the past 28 years with Dr. Joseph Welty and Theresa Shroyer at KSB Hospital in Dixon,

Barbara was born Sept. 30, 1952, in Sterling, the daughter of Robert and Evelyn (Crouse) Maxwell. She married Thomas Love on May 22, 1971, in Dixon. Barbara was a member of Harvest Time Bible Church in Rock Falls.

Survivors include her husband of Grand Detour; son, Matthew (Jillian) Love of East Peoria; daughter, Jody (Mike) Bindgen of North Aurora; mother, Evelyn Maxwell of Sterling; brothers, Thomas (Louie) Maxwell of Sterling and John (Patricia) Maxwell of Dallas; and sister, Lynda Maxwell of Chicago.

She was preceded in death by her father.

The memorial service will be at 1 p.m. today at Harvest Time Bible Church in Rock Falls, with the Rev. Jason Borton, youth pastor, officiating. Cremation rites have been accorded.

A memorial has been established to Serenity Hospice & Home in Oregon.
