MOUNT MORRIS – Forrest M. Rinard-Harris, 79, of Mount Morris, formerly of Polo, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at Serenity Hospice & Home in Oregon. She worked for the Department of Mental Health in Dixon for many years.

She was born July 5, 1934, in Guthrie Center, Iowa, the daughter of Forest and Georgia (Euers) Compton. Forrest was married to her first husband, Robert Rinard, for 35 years, then to her second husband, John Harris, for 20 years. Both preceded her in death.

Survivors include one son, Donald Rinard of Polo; one brother, David Compton of Tacoma, Washington; and one grandson.

She also was preceded in death by a brother, William “Billy” Compton.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at Polo Family Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 201 N. Division Ave., Polo. Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery in Polo.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to St. Mark Lutheran Church and Serenity Hospice & Home.
