ROCK FALLS – Betty A. Lange, 77, of Rock Falls, died Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at her home. 

She was born July 24, 1936, in Cayuga, Indiana, the daughter of Orville and Ethel (Van Camp) Miller. She married Don Lange. He preceded her in death in 1998. Betty retired from General Electric Co.. She enjoyed fishing, casinos, and garage sales. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, and the Eagles and Moose clubs.

Survivors include two daughters, Carla (Don) Walters of Rock Falls and Kim (Ray) Martinez of Sterling; one son, Mikel Richards of California; two sisters, Esther Ross of Perrysville, Indiana, and Pauline Smith of Newport, Indiana; one brother, Garnet (Karen) Miller of Westville; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; and one daughter, Mickey Eades.

There will be no visitation or funeral. Cremation rites will be accorded. McDonald Funeral Home & Crematory in Rock Falls is handling arrangements.

Memorials may be made to Happy Tails Animal Shelter in Rock Falls.
