AMBOY – Landyn Gerald Keener, 3, of Amboy, died Monday, June 30, 2014, at KSB Hospital in Dixon.

He was born Aug. 27, 2010, in Dixon.

He is survived by his father, Anthony Vannoy of Amboy; his mother, Amy Lynn Anderson of Amboy; his stepfather, Nathan Keener of Dixon; his siblings, Dalton Thomas of Rochelle, Xander Mezo and Jaylynn Anderson, both of Amboy, Layne Vannoy of Dixon, and Ryland Vannoy of Rochelle; his stepsiblings, Trinity Keener and Addrian Keener, both of Dixon; maternal grandparents, Tammy and James Mezo of Amboy; paternal grandparents, Peg and Dean Kessel of Eldena; paternal stepgrandparents, Larry and Jody Keener of Dixon; maternal great-grandparents, Lois Mezo of Amboy and William and Opel Thomas of Fairfield; and aunts and uncles, James Mezo Jr., Whitney and Zachery Lewis, Josh Vannoy, and Greg Kessel.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfather, Billy Gene Mezo.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and the funeral at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy, with the Rev. Michael Cole officiating. Burial will be at Woodside Cemetery in Lee Center.

A memorial has been established.
