LIBERTYVILLE (AP) – The last two members of the Chicago-area Pearl Harbor Survivors Association have had their final reunion.

The Daily Herald reports that 94-year-old Joe Triolo of Waukegan and 92-year-old Lyle Hancock of Wheeling had lunch Sunday at Lambs Farm in Libertyville. That’s where the group has had its reunions every year for the last 2 decades. The room on Sunday was filled with memorabilia, including pictures of the group’s members.

Triolo says he was aboard a cargo ship during the attack. Hancock says he was stationed at the Navy Yard Dispensary.

The group donated the remainder of its funds to Lambs Farm.
