Amplified phone availability topic

DIXON – A presentation on the Illinois Telecommunications Access Corp. will be from noon to Thursday at Lee County Council on Aging, 100 W. Second St.

ITAC and LCCOA work together to provide free amplified CapTel and TTY phones through an 8-cent tax paid by customers of land-line phone providers. There are no age or income guidelines for this program. Participants must have a land-line service, be a legal Illinois resident, and have a need for an amplified phone.

Lunch will be provided at no charge; call Samantha at 815-288-9236 to reserve a meal or for more information.
