Hopeful that bumpy road will be fixed

Published: Wednesday, June 25, 2014 1:15 a.m. CDT • Updated: Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2014 8:27 a.m. CDT

This letter concerns the highway [state Route 38] from Ashton west to Crest Foods warehouse.

Going both east and west, the road is filled with cracks so bad, you can't find a decent spot to go over them. The noise is tremendous as it shakes the whole car.

There is a lot of traffic going to work at Crest, so there is a lot of use, but nothing smooths out the huge bumps.

I'm sure a lot of us would be grateful if something could be done with this section. We pay taxes, too.
