Ogle County Sheriff

Tyler Borgen, 20, of Rockford; 5:28 p.m. Tuesday at Lake Ladonna and Harmony Road; driving while license suspended, operating a vehicle with expired registration sticker, operating an uninsured vehicle; taken to Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

Benjamin Boyden, 27, of Winnebago; Tuesday at Ogle County Jail; warrant for failure to appear; posted bond and given notice to appear in court.

Jeffrey Meives, 20, of Chana; Tuesday in Chana; disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property; taken to Ogle County Jail.

Two hurt Tuesday in vehicle rollover

OGLE COUNTY – Two people were injured Tuesday in a single-vehicle crash on West Pilgrim Road.

Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies, Dixon Rural firefighters and emergency medical services, and Lee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene at 5:17 p.m. Sydney N. Moser, 22, of Rock Falls, and her passenger, Savannah J. Moser, 17, of Sterling, were taken by Dixon Rural EMS to KSB Hospital with minor injuries.

Their conditions were unavailable Wednesday. After an investigation, Sydney Moser was issued a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

One injured in motorcycle crash

OGLE COUNTY – A 16-year-old boy was hurt Tuesday in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 39 in Ogle County.

Ogle County deputies responded to the scene at 3:33 p.m. An investigation revealed that a motorcycle driven by Chad Vincent, 44, of Plainfield, Indiana, was southbound when the motorcycle hit a bump and skidded out of control.

Vincent and his 16-year-old son were thrown from the motorcycle, and the 16-year-old was taken to Rochelle Community Hospital by Linn-Scott-Rock Ambulance staff. His condition was unavailable Wednesday.
