LAKE FOREST – Glenyce Ellyn Teskoski (née Mellott) of Lake Forest, 89, passed peacefully Saturday, June 14, 2014.

She was the loving wife of 63 years to the late Joseph; daughter of the late Edwin and Frances Mellott; devoted mother to Jim (Nancy) Teskoski of Lake Forest, John (Chris) Teskoski of Temecula, California, Bill Teskoski of Lake Forest, and Kathy (Doug) Heid of Deerfield; beloved grandmother to Laura, Jennifer, Mike, Kurtis, the late Will, Rylie, Ben, Jonathan, and Charles; loving sister to the late Robert (Carolyn) Mellott; and beloved aunt to many.

She grew up in Dixon, and was deeply rooted in faith and love for her family. Glenyce was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She passionately enjoyed gardening, art, cooking, needlework, and her grandchildren, and will be immensely missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon and the funeral at noon Saturday at Wenban Funeral Home, 320 E. Vine Ave., Lake Forest.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Chicago Botanic Garden.
