David L. Hall

STERLING – David L. Hall, 58, of Sterling, died Sunday, June 15, 2014, at his home. He worked various jobs and served in the Army.

David was born Jan. 23, 1956, in Owensboro, Kentucky, the son of James and Emily (Dennison) Hall.

Survivors include his companion, Allison Edwards of Sterling; four sisters, Faith (Fred) Fargher of Sterling, Becky (Arthur) Bushnell of Morrison, Edith Williamson of Rock Falls, and Lois Holland of Galt; and two brothers, Malcolm (Etta “Cookie”) Hall of Prophetstown and Jim (Annette) Hall of Morrison.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Tracey; and three brothers, Steve, James, and Gerald.

A gathering of family and friends will be from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the Rock Falls Community Building. McDonald Funeral Homes is handling arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
