STERLING – William Frank Jonaway, 82, of Sterling, died Monday, June 16, 2014, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling. He was a local Union 364 electrician.

William was born July 29, 1931, in Coleta, the son of William and Nellie Jonaway. He served in the Navy. He married Marge Baker in 1954. 

Survivors include his wife; one son, Kurk (Debra Roush) Jonaway of Sterling; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Kip Jonaway.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Schilling Funeral Home in Sterling.

A memorial has been established.
