In conjunction with a May 16 Fun Night, Ken Nelson Auto Plaza in Dixon helped raise $1,350 for Ashton-Franklin Center Elementary and Middle schools in Franklin Grove, with Chrysler brand’s Drive for the Kids program.

Participants earned a $10 contribution to the school on their behalf from Chrysler by taking a test drive in a 2014 model Town & Country minivan.

At the end of this year’s program, the school with the highest number of test drives in each one of the five geographic regions, Southeast, Northeast, Midwest, Central, and West, will win an additional $5,000, in funding from Chrysler through the program.
