Two injured in Friday crash

OGLE COUNTY – Jessica Miller, 26, of Wonewoc, Wisconsin, and Elizabeth Nord, 71, of Janesville, Wisconsin, were taken to area hospitals with minor injuries after being involved in a three-car crash Friday on Interstate 39.

Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the crash, for which a driver of one of the cars, Isaac Miller, 24, of Wonewoc, Wisconsin, was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

According to a sheriff’s department news release, all three vehicles were southbound in the right lane of I-39 when two of the cars slowed for traffic and were struck from behind by Miller’s vehcie.
