HUNTLEY (AP) – Police in suburban Chicago say a second brother is dead after a domestic shooting last week in the McHenry County village of Huntley.

Huntley police say 50-year-old Mark R. Grundei died Wednesday evening of severe head injuries at a hospice center in Woodstock. An autopsy was scheduled for Thursday.

Police have said Grundei and his brother, Robert Grundei, were shot May 26 during a family dispute over living arrangements. Robert Grundei died after he was shot in the head. Their mother, 81-year-old Alyce Grundei, survived but was grazed in the head.

Police say they continue to investigate the shootings. Authorities have said the family members were arguing about living arrangements following the sale of a home.
