■ A free community meal, 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Morrison Presbyterian Church, 100 E. Lincolnway. The site is wheelchair accessible.
■ Customer Appreciation Cook-out, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at Community State Bank, 220 E. Main St.
■ The Mustangs vs. Fulton Alumni, Friday at Morrison High School’s E. M. “Bud” Cole field, 643 Genesee Ave. Tickets are $10 and available at Morrison Farmers Market, 204 E. Lincolnway; thecity1.com, 218 W. Main St.; and Morrison Chamber of Commerce, 221 W. Main St.

■ Hog roast and beer garden with disc jockey music, June 28 at the Whiteside County Fairgrounds on Winfield Street. Bob and Kelly McDonnell will host the $7 hog roast meal from 4 to 8 p.m. to benefit the Morrison High School football program. Pulled pork sandwiches, potato salad, baked beans, and pop will be served. Extra sandwiches will be available for $4.
The Morrison Athletic Boosters will host the beer garden and Hit the Lights – Mobile DJ from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. in support of high school athletics.
■ The eighth annual Make Teal Real golf outing, June 28 at Cross Creek Golf Course, 15523 Henry Road. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m., with tee time at 11.
At 10, there will be a golf ball Chopper Dropper from a helicopter. Numbered tickets that correspond with golf balls will be available for purchase. The cost is $5 for one or $20 for five. The golf balls will be dropped on the golf course.
The ticket holder of the ball landing closest to the pin will win $600. The ticket holder of the next closest ball will win $300. Winners need not be present.

■ Milwaukee Brewers vs. the St. Louis Cardinals July 13 at Miller Park in Milwaukee. St. Mary’s Knights of Columbus will host the trip. The game starts at 1:10 p.m. The bus will leave at 9:30 a.m. from the church parking lot, 13320 Garden Plain Road. Tickets are $75; call Jim at 309-236-9933 for information.
■ Registrations are open for the 27th annual Harvest Hammer 5K run; 21-mile duathlon; and children’s wee run, fun run, and challenge run, set for Sept. 20. Children’s events will start at 8:15 a.m., and the 5K and duathlon will be at 9.
All proceeds benefit Morrison Rotary Club local youth, education, community, and international projects.
