LSSI provides senior assistance

STERLING – Lutheran Social Services of Illinois offers programs to help older adults.

LSSI Case Management Services provides home visits to those 60 and older to discuss care options. This is an individualized, comprehensive review of available services to assist with current needs.

The Adult Protective Services Program offers investigation and intervention services for adults who are victims of abuse or neglect. To report suspected abuse, call LSSI from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at  815-626-7333, or the state Department on Aging’s Elder Abuse Hotline anytime at 866-800-1409.
