One hurt in ATV crash Saturday

OGLE COUNTY – Stillman Valley fire personnel took a man to Rockford Memorial Hospital for a knee injury he received Saturday in an ATV crash.

Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene at 5:05 p.m. at 6318 state Route 72 East. Mauricio Luna Jr., 21, told deputies he came up a blind hill on an ATV and hit a pile of cut firewood at the top.

Luna’s right knee was injured. He was taken to the hospital, where he was treated in the emergency room.
