Home receives Blue Star designation

DIXON – The Ronald Reagan Boyhood Home recently became a Blue Star Museum affiliated with Blue Star Families.

The home, at 816 S. Hennepin Ave., will admit active duty military personnel and up to five family members at no charge between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

The program is open to any bearer of a Geneva Convention common access card, a DD Form 1173 identification card (dependent), or a DD Form 1173-1 ID card. This also includes members of the National Guard and Reserve, U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Commissioned Corps.
