The Fish Food Pantry gives a special thank you to the postal workers and the Sterling-Rock Falls community for the May 10 food drive.
The number of families that we are serving is up about 40 percent since November 2013. This is a significant increase. In order to meet this increased demand we need more food to fill our shelves.
We are supported by the community with volunteers that fill orders and donations of money and food items from individuals and churches. It was a joy to sort items and fill our shelves.
The board and most of all the families we serve say “thank you” to all who gave of their time and contributed food items.
Note to readers: Beth Mathew is the board president.
