MORRISON – Eldora Tichler, 95, of Morrison, died Saturday, May 17, 2014, at Resthave Home in Morrison. She was a homemaker.

Eldora was born in Morrison to Robert and Minnie (Pruis) Douma. She married Kenneth J. Tichler on Feb. 14, 1941, in Morrison. He died Nov. 30, 2005.

She was a member of Ebenezer Reformed Church in Morrison.

She is survived by daughters Mary Ellen Meyer of Alto, Michigan, and Charlotte (Bill) Cox of Vail, Arizona; son Richard (Kathleen) Tichler of Fort Wayne, Indiana; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by son-in-law William Meyer; sister June Schaver; and brothers Charles and Lee Douma.

Visitation begins at 9:30 a.m. and the funeral at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ebenezer Reformed Church in Morrison. Ken Renkes, the church’s director of Congregational Care, will officiate. Interment follows at Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that memorials be considered.
