Marcia A. Dusing

POLO – Marcia Ann Dusing, 60, of Polo, passed away peacefully Monday, May 12, 2014, a loving wife, mother, daughter, nana, aunt, and friend to many.

She was born Feb. 23, 1954, in Sterling, a daughter of Joseph and Mercedes (Delgado) Regalado. She married Curt Dusing on Dec. 17, 1982, in Ashton. She attended Sterling High School and later received a degree in horticulture. Marcia enjoyed homemaking, cooking, cleaning, singing, and dancing.  

She is survived by her husband, Curt of Polo; her children, Michelle (Chris Benton) Hazlett of Dalton, Georgia, Leah (Justin) Jusufi of Polo, and Curt (Jess) Dusing II of Denver; her beautiful grandchildren, Dylan, Sierra, Isaiah, Mercedes, Reece, Aleksander, Sophia, and Skylar on the way; her great-granddaughter, Ella; six brothers, Gregory Regalado, Joseph (Gayle) Regalado, Eligio Regalado, Anthony (Margaret) Regalado, Mark Regalado, and Pete (Lydia) Regalado; and five sisters, Carol Kay Aument, Stephanie (Terry) Wagner, Christine (Tony) Quadraro, Marcella (John) Osborne, and Margaret (Randy) Lucero.

She was preceded in death by her father, grandparents, three children in infancy, one brother, and one grandson.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 9 to 10 a.m. and a memorial service at 10 a.m. Saturday at McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls. Cremation rites have been accorded.

A memorial has been established.
