Recital featuring locals to hit stage

DIXON – Eastman School of Dance will present its 44th annual spring recital, “Dance! Dance! Dance!,” at 6:30 p.m. May 24 at the Dixon High School auditorium, 300 Lincoln Statue Drive. Doors will open at 6 p.m.

The recital will showcase all of the Eastman dancers and honor its five senior dance graduates, Rachel McKinley, Kayla Faley, Kasia Majewski, Katarina Gvozdjak, and Lauren Farley. The five graduates represent Dixon, Newman, Oregon and Sterling high schools. Each of the seniors are national dance champions.

The competition teams will perform their award-winning routines from Dance America regionals. The 2014 senior competition team has earned overall regional and national awards, and high scores in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and modern.

Tickets are $15 and will be available at the door the evening of the performance. Children young than 4 get in free.
