Dogs, owners wanted for annual Sterling walk

STERLING – Happy Tails Animal Shelter will have a 2K “Run for the Paws” fun run June 21 as part of Sterling Main Street’s Dog Days celebration.

Registration will be at 7:30 a.m., with the run at 8 at Grandon Civic Center on East Fourth Street. Owners and dogs can run or walk at their own pace. The cost is $20, which includes a T-shirt if participants sign up by June 7.

For more information or to sign up, visit happytailsanimalshelter.org or stop at the shelter, 1408 McNeil Road. The hours are 8 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday and from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays.
