Parsons appointed Clippers’ CEO

The NBA announced the appointment of Richard Parsons as interim CEO of the Clippers.

Formerly a chairman with Citigroup and Time Warner, Parsons will represent the Clippers as the franchise goes through the process of finding a new owner, on the heels of Commissioner Adam Silver’s decision to impose a lifetime ban on team owner Donald Sterling.

Notre Dame supports gay athletes

Barely a year after finally approving an official LGBT student organization, the University of Notre Dame has stepped to the forefront of the movement.

Spurred by the desire of two gay Irish athletes to increase acceptance, the university’s athletic department released a 2-minute video advocating equality.
