Questions still not answered on Benghazi

Published: Saturday, May 10, 2014 1:15 a.m. CST

Benghazi is back on the front burner, and it's long overdue. We need to find out why those people weren't given enough protection. Maybe they should have been brought home, or maybe they shouldn't have been there, period.

Secretary of State Clinton should have been fired on the spot. Four people died.

Where was the president? The attack lasted more than 7 hours. The commander-in-chief wasn't in the situation room, but no one knows where he was.

People were waiting for the call but it never came. Four brave Americans died because of a complete screw-up by this administration. They have lied for weeks about why it happened.

Richard Nixon resigned because of a break-in and all the lies in the coverup; however, no one died in Watergate. In Benghazi-gate, four brave Americans died over a 7-hour period.

The call for help came about 5 p.m., not 3 a.m., but guess what? Neither Secretary of State Clinton or the president could pull the trigger to send help. It's a total disgrace.

Mr. President, put on you big-boy pants, stand up like a man, quit your whining about Fox News and everybody that doesn't like your policies, and start taking responsibility for your screw-ups. When Harry Truman said, "The buck stops here," he meant what he said.

Somebody needs to be held accountable for the people who died in Benghazi. Should the president be impeached? No one died in Watergate. Someone needs to walk the plank. This president doesn't deserve to be called commander-in-chief. He was a no-show when the call came in for help.

Wake up, America, and get involved in finding out the truth about what and why it really happened 20 months ago in Benghazi.
