Creativity program set in Sterling

STERLING – Northwestern Illinois Center for Independent Living will present a free workshop to promote creativity from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at NIClL’s training center, 412 Locust St.

“Fostering the Creative Spirit in Yourself and Others” will focus on research about how creativity develops, is expressed, and changes through life. Janice McCoy, a family life educator for the Carroll-Lee-Whiteside unit of the University of Illinois Extension, will be the presenter.
