BOLINGBROOK (AP) – A father is facing aggravated DUI charges for a crash that killed a 4-year-old boy from suburban Chicago.

Illinois State Police say Sunday morning’s rollover crash on Interstate 55 in Bolingbrook killed the Romeoville boy, who was thrown from the vehicle. Two other children were injured and are in critical condition at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.

Police say the wreck happened around 2 a.m.

Investigators say the children’s 29-year-old father was behind the wheel during the crash. He remains in the hospital.
