Senior Brady Siegmund, 18, of Sterling, is one of Sterling High School's April Students of the Month. He will attend Sauk Valley Community College in the fall to study law enforcement.

Senior Brady Siegmund, 18, of Sterling, is one of Sterling High School’s April Students of the Month. He is the son of Brad and Shelley Siegmund, and has a brother, Drew, 15.

Favorite class: Criminal justice. It interested me, because I plan to work in that career field.

Top teacher: Bruce Luther, criminal justice. He made class fun and interesting every day, and I looked forward to having class.

Extracurriculars: Baseball, Peer Jury, Explorers, National Honor Society

After graduation: I am attending Sauk Valley Community College in the fall to study law enforcement.

Paycheck: I wash dishes for Manny’s Pizza and Tacos.

Best friend: Cheyenne Johnson

Favorite musical group: AC/DC

Favorite actor: Jason Statham

Favorite TV show: “The Big Bang Theory”

Hobbies: Baseball, boating, camping, shooting
