Joshua J. Wade, 32, of Morrison; 2:52 p.m. Wednesday at First Avenue and East Third Street; disobeyed traffic control signal; given notice to appear in court.

Brandon C. Faris, 20, of Sterling; 4:48 p.m. Wednesday at Northland Mall, 2900 E. Lincolnway; retail theft; given notice to appear in court.

Rock Falls Police

Janet Sims, 64, of Rock Falls; 7:30 p.m. Saturday; battery; given notice to appear in court.

Dixon Police

Jeffry D. Halverson, 53, of Dixon; 2:12 p.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of Stony Point Road; driving while license revoked; posted bond and was released.

Ogle County Sheriff

Robert W. Janecek, 63, of Mount Morris; 1 p.m. Wednesday on state Route 64 in Mount Morris; domestic battery; taken to Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond pending a court appearance.

Mario A. Gomez, 20, of Mount Morris; 7:50 a.m. Wednesday on West Pines Road; no valid driver's license, obstructing identification, and unlawful possession of fraudulent identification card, failure to stop; issued citation for failure to stop; held at Ogle County Jail.

State Police

Amanda M. Outhouse, 34, of Sterling; 7:52 a.m. Wednesday at West Third Street and Avenue G in Sterling; no valid driver's license – expired, seat belt violation; issued individual bond and given notice to appear in court.

Richard J. Jackley, 22, of Sterling; 12:39 a.m. Monday at U.S. Route 30 and Yorktown Road in Whiteside County; driving under the influence, speeding, illegal transportation, no insurance; posted driver's license and $100 bond, given court date.

Jeffery H. Green, 26, of Hanover; 10:47 a.m. Sunday at Fourth Street and Chicago Avenue in Savanna; Jo Daviess County warrant; held at Carroll County Jail and given notice to appear in court.

One injured Tuesday in single-vehicle crash

LEE COUNTY – A Rock Falls woman was injured Tuesday in a single-vehicle crash at state Route 2 and Mound Hill Road.

State police troopers responded to the scene at 9:04 p.m. An investigation revealed that a car driven by Brooke A. Sotelo-Bender, 19, was westbound on state Route 2 when the car left the roadway and entered the center median. The car continued through the median before it came to rest in the eastbound lanes.

Sotelo-Bender was taken to CGH Medical Center in Sterling by CGH ambulance. Her condition was unavailable Thursday.
