ROCK FALLS – Raymond Charles Panice, 70, of Rock Falls, died Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling. He worked as a truck loader and an assembler at Self Help Enterprises for the past 45 years.

Raymond was born Nov 14, 1943, in Chicago, to Vido and Ada (Filippi) Panice.

Survivors include one sister, Diane (John) Okland, and one brother, Rich (Gloria) Panice, both of Rock Falls.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Vido in infancy.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls. Visitation also will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday and the Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Rock Falls, with the Rev. James R. Keenan, celebrant, officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Sterling.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society.
