DIXON – Marilyn Jean Jeanblanc, 79, of Dixon, died Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at her home.  

Marilyn was born Jan. 23, 1935, in Dixon, the daughter of George and Gladys (Fischer) Scheffler. She attended Immanuel Lutheran Church in Dixon.

Survivors include three sons, Ryan (Leslie) Jeanblanc of Little Elm, Texas, Rory Jeanblanc of Edgerton, Wis., and Ron (Kim) Jeanblanc of Springfield; four daughters, Rhonda Heather of Dixon, Robin Jeanblanc of Madison, Wis., Regina (Mark) Staley of Dixon, and Renee Jeanblanc of Madison; one brother, Edward Scheffler of Amboy; one sister, Marjorie (Morrie) Vincent of Walnut; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Rusty.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. and the memorial service at 11 Saturday at Preston-Schilling Funeral Home in Dixon, with the Rev. John Kalebaugh, pastor of Refuge Church in Amboy, officiating. Cremation rites have been accorded.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to Serenity Hospice & Home in Oregon.
