MONTGOMERY (AP) – Authorities say six people were injured in a shooting at an Easter party in suburban Chicago.

Montgomery Police Chief Daniel Meyers tells Chicago’s WBBM-TV that the shooter allegedly got out of an SUV and fired bullets into the garage of a home where an Easter party was taking place and children were present. The shooting happened around 12:30 a.m. Sunday.

Four men and two women between the ages of 20 and 30 were wounded. No charges have been filed.

The Kane County Major Crimes Task Force is investigating.

Montgomery is about 45 miles from Chicago.
